How can I care for my products?

How to Care for Tencel™
  • Minimal maintenance and easy care make Tencel™ an in-demand material.
  • Simply, machine wash and tumble dry these items as stated on the label.
  • Clothes will maintain colors and continue to fit well for many years without stretching or pulling.
  • Traveling? No problem. Hand wash your items and lay flat to dry to retain its regular shape.
Care Instructions: Blade Guards
  • Replace your blade guards when they no longer cover your blade effectively.
  • Watch for thin spots or holes in the bottom.
  • For hard guards, clean out the insides periodically.
  • For LED blade guard items, do not soak in water.
Care Instructions: Shoe laces
  • For safety and best performance, replace shoe laces when they start to wear out, lose threads, or when the aglets come off the ends.
Care Instructions: Helmet
  • Clean your helmet with warm water and gentle soap, such as baby shampoo.
  • Avoid solvents and any petroleum-based cleaners, as they can weaken the foam liner and the shell.
  • Hand wash the helmet in a sink and rinse with cold water.
  • Let the helmet air dry.

WARNING

  • Do not put your helmet in the dryer, oven, microwave, or attempt to dry it out with a hair dryer. The heat will weaken the shell and compromise the integrity of the adhesives.
  • For maximum protection, the helmet must be of good fit and all retention straps must be secure.
  • This headgear is designed to absorb the energy of a severe blow through partial destruction of the shell and/or lining. Even though damage may not be visible, the helmet should be replaced if such an impact occurs. Some impacts may surpass the helmet's ability to protect against severe injury or death.
  • Make no modifications to your helmet as it may affect its protective capacity.
  • Some common substances can cause damage to the helmet, though it may not be visible to the user. The use of any solvents, paints of cleaning solutions can cause damage to the helmet and make it ineffective in the result of an accident.

NOT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE USE.

Care Instructions: Protective pads
  • Leave the pads as open as possible.
  • Put them inside a mesh bag or pillow case.
  • Attach the Velcro straps to each other to prevent lint build-up.
  • Don’t overdo the detergent and avoid bleach.
  • Wash with jeans or other non-lint-making clothes.
  • Let the pads air dry.
Care Instructions: Tights and stockings
  • Use a mild detergent that does not contain bleach.
  • Turn tights inside out. This will prevent any buildup of lint during washing.
  • Place them inside a mesh bag or pillow case. These bags protect them from tangling and damage.
  • Use a delicate cycle with cold water. This protects the texture and preserves the color.
  • Dry tights on a towel. You should not hang dry them because this can cause the fabric to stretch.
  • Tights should never be placed in a dryer.
Care Instructions: Skate Costumes
  • To ensure longevity of your skate outfit, do not wash it unless absolutely necessary.
  • For skate outfits without embellishments such as beads and stones or trimmings, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent to prevent shrinkage.
  • Never wash or dry clean outfits with embellishments or trimmings.
  • Use a steamer but do not iron. If necessary, use a cool temperature to prevent burning the fabric.
  • Store the outfit in a dry place to prevent mildew or mold.
  • Protect the color from fading. Store the outfit in a dark-colored plastic cover or garment bag.
